Spaghetti Dinner & Talent Show - Saturday, April 26th, 2008 - 6:00pm!

March 6th, 2008....

To all council 8951 Brother Knights....

I am hoping that many of you will get involved with our event this year – and especially – that you will plan to attend with your family!  …and maybe invite another parish family to join you!  Our emphasis on this program is on building community – please come out and enjoy some good food and great entertainment!

Here are some ways that you could also help out with the night –

1. We need a volunteer to “MC” the talent show… are you good at a microphone?  Have a few good jokes to tell?  Good at keeping things moving along? 
2. Setup and decorating – tables and chairs, table settings, flowers, etc.  This is usually done on the Friday night before the dinner.
3. Meat ball and sauce making!   …and spaghetti boiling!   …and pie baking!  …and cake icing!!  Etc…  This is also usually done on the Friday night before the dinner.
4. Hall cleanup – following the dinner on Saturday night.
5. Ticket sales – after all Masses during the month of April.
6. Door and liquor ticket sales – during the dinner.
7. Get on stage and perform!  By yourself, with a group, or with your family!

 If you know someone that might be a great MC, or someone that you think has lots of talent and should be on stage – let me know!  I’ll gladly contact them. 

So, please consider giving us a hand and helping.  Please watch for sign-up sheets in the church foyer.  And better yet, please reserve the date – Saturday, April 26 – and plan to attend with your family!!!  PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD!

Our annual Spaghetti Dinner & Talent Show was held to another capacity parish crowd. Thanks for attending and we hope you enjoyed the "local" talent.

Thanks to council 8951 Brother Knights who setup, cooked and cleaned up. John Peco gets special mention for chairing this popular event.
