With just one week's notice more than 20 Knights gathered at the Hartman's home to cut, split and stack firewoord for the coming winter. With the buzz of chain saws and hum of two log splitters we were done in under 3 hours and even had time for homemade muffins and jams. Thanks to all the neighbours and bother Knights, and their kids in some cases, who could attend.

Here are just a few cutting and splitting. Other crews were busy loading, unloading and stacking.

Time for a break of men and machines.
